V2 Ring Info

Now, on to what makes these v2 rings different from the original:

Best fit, perfect fit, optimal fit, are all words that have been swimming around in my mental ocean and have breached the surface in the from of the V2 OG pro cap modified ring!

I have split the rings off into 2 categories, Oculus and Pro Ball. Why you may ask, the Pro atomizers are all the same size and the oculus and ball caps work interchangeably.

Well, the past few months have shown me that there is a difference in how the oculus cap fits versus how a ball cap fits into a modified OG ring.

Oculus caps are just a hair wider in terms of how they want to fit into the rings.

Ball caps are just a hair smaller.

When grinding rings a ball cap will fit flush sooner than a new cap. This is where I realized that I could be offering a more fine tuned product to help enhance the OG experience further.

In addition to grinding to fit the specific cap I have added to 2 fit options after you select the Oculus or the Pro Ball.

They are:

Tight fit

and

Loose fit.

Tight fit is meant for your Used caps, ones that have gotten some use on your Pro devices. These caps will over time have the silicones inner lip wear down which leads them to be much less ridged than when they were new, this causes a fair difference in fitting into a modified ceramic ring.

Tight fit rings can occasionally cause caps to pop out when cold and when heating. I have found pushing and twisting at the same time will cause the caps to seat very well. My personal experience has found that once the device vibrates indicating it’s ready to be hit, my ring will seat very well for the duration of the session.

Loose fit is meant for new caps, ones that have seen no use or VERY light use. These caps will have a very stiff lip and will fit much tighter than a used cap.

Loose fit rings may cause the caps to need to be held on with a finger, mainly the ball caps due to the rotation motion.

Always keep your ball caps lubricanted for mobility. This will eliminate any possible friction that can cause caps to pop out from the rings. Below is an IMGUR link to a video I made on how to oil your ball caps!
